We offer virtual support groups for bariatric patients. In 2023 these groups will be transitioning to a priviate, closed Facebook group. Feel free to like “Amarillo Bariatric Support” to stay connected and up to date.
Support Options
Virtual Support Group
This group is offered every other month on the first Tuesday of the month. BSA, NWTH, and Panhandle Surgical Center have come together to provide this group for their patients. This group is free for patients and provided through our private Facebook group “Amarillo Bariatric Support”. Please like this page to stay up to date.

March 7, 2023
July 11, 2023 (second Tuesday due to July 4th)
September 5, 2023
November 7, 2023
In Person Support Group
With a minimum of 4 people, we can offer a closed in person support group. Closed support groups are different than open in that you start together and end together. Once the group has started, there won’t be new people joining until the group has concluded. These groups often last six weeks.
